Favorite Bands You Can't Play Along With
So this past weekend, I went and saw DragonForce in Cleveland (and met Sepi, cool dude!) and that got me to thinking... what bands does everyone listen to that you just can't play along with cuz they're just above your own ability? (And no smart ass "I'm the best" comments guys, let's be honest) What bands do you listen to and just say to yourself, "I'm not even gonna try to play that shit, it's too crazy"

Mine would be:
DragonForce - Too fast!
Biomechanical - Too abstract
Into Eternity - Too abstract
Manticora - I try, but can't seem to get it
Rage - I need to try again, but I doubt I'll get it
Children of Bodom - I try, but can't seem to get it
Trivium - I try, but can't seem to get it


Metal... Nuff Said!!

I barely play along to any music. The only bands I play along to are In Flames and Amon Amarth. I'm usually like "I'm not even gonna try to play that shit, I'm too lazy".

there are a lot of Dream Theater tunes that i've been wanting to sit down and hammer out, but just don't have the patience for.

Jason Becker - for a soloist. Without the tab I think it would be a difficult time.

Dying Fetus -Destroy the opposition- I made it through 2 songs in 3 weeks. My left hand almost broke off. Their chord changes are just crazy fast on this disc.
