Hmmmm a few weeks ago I figured out how to play "Be Our Guest" from beauty and the beast...good waste of an hour cos I can't fucking remember it now.

I also tried doing a metal version of "Yellow Submarine", one of those projects that gets left behind tho.

More words here is more words.

I can already play The Legend Of Zelda (learned it about 10 years ago), I play it with the chords and melody fingerpicking it. I just learned the bass notes first and learned the melody and incorporated both. It is one o f my favorite video game songs.

Another song I learned are a few from Castlevania games. I especially love the music for Symphony Of The Night. One song in particular, I learned on keyboard, it is called "Lost Painting". I have learned a couple off this right here which I highly recommend to all castlevania fans and musicians. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=glance&n=5174

A couple Megaman and Ninja Gaiden songs, Metroid, Gradius, etc...too many to list.

About 10 years ago, that's all I did other than play in a death metal band was study video game music.

This is a cool idea, im in. I will do Castlevania's "Lost Painting"

One of the coolest theme songs in my opinion is the Doctor Wily theme from Megaman 2.

The Frog theme from Chrono Trigger would be pretty cool too.

You'll also have to figure in the cost of royalties to the original composers when deciding on the price of the CD. You can play covers all you like, but once you record them and sell them, i believe you need to pay royalties.
