Yep, Clint left. I heard that Sevendust already has a replacement for him. Some guy who was in a band called Snot if I remember correctly. Should be interesting to see what happens with Sevendust now. Clint was so much a part of the overall sound of Sevendust and a great singer to boot. Oh well, I like his new band from what I've heard of it.

I like it... its kind of a cross between Stereomud and Sevendust, which I guess makes sense when looking at where the members came from. Hopefully it will be a good release when it gets here!

not a bad tune, not up to sevendust standards to me, but not bad... man, i'm so pissed he left. i considered sevendust to be lajon, clint and morgan, and that's that lol. They just won't be sevendust anymore without him...and imagine how mike must feel now. He's been a replacement guitarist for big bands for the past few years, limp bizkit and now these guys. If sevendust's new material with mike smith is going to take a turn like limp bizkit's material when they got mike smith, i say sevendust should just throw in the towel now...

Just how sure are we that Clint left Sevendust for good? Because there's nothing about it on the Sevendust website (just the tour thing), and I followed the link to the Sevendust page on that website and when you read the last bit it makes it sound like the band Clint left citing personal issues WAS Dark New Day. Check it out.

http://www.rockdetector.com/goartist...d1?q=SEVENDUST

Oh well. Even if he did leave, I hope they can continue on. Another thing is that I thought it said that the guitarist they got to replace him was Sonny Mayo, not Mike Smith. And again, in the Sevendust article it sounds like the the replacement for Clint was in the band Dark New Day, not Sevendust. I'm so confused.

By the way, if any of you guys have heard Snot, you know how awesome both the guitarists in that band were. Even if one of them did a stint with Limp Bizkit, Snot was still an amazing band. They're all buddies, from what I understand. The guys in Sevendust, Limp Bizkit, Snot, Incubus, Deftones, Skunk Anansie, and a bunch of other bands are all friends, so it stands to reason that they would get a replacement guitarist from their circle.
