They are cheap Asian copies of Ibanez guitars. They're smart enough not to put a fake Ibanez logo on them. Somebody on the Shrederooers group on Myspace bought one once, and it was utter shit.

And... I'm like a rusty cooley fanatic. I find it hard to believe, you can't spot a fake... but you can play rusty's stuff. Post a video, because his phrasing/structure/everything is extreme.

Easy, tiger. Some people just play the guitar and don't get into gear idolatry like you do.

On the auctions, there are really closeups of the guitars. You can tell the fretwork is bad and that the trem/neck aren't even aligned correctly.

true dat, but all I asked for was a video. I'm curious to see someone play his stuff, I've never seen anyone other than rusty play it. That'd be sweet.

Strychnin (sp?), thinks rusty's stuff is uber-retarded and easy, I sent him the tab, and he said it was easy. I believe he can play it just as much as I believe in the Easter bunny.

Strychnine is a very smart guy and an unconventional player with some chops, but he sounds nothing like Rusty to me.

Anyone who says anything is easy is setting probably is missing something. In my opinion, nothing done right is ever easy.

Back o/t: The guitar looks decent for the money. I don't see what all of the fuss is about. No one said this was a UV.

I would like to send a video, but I have have enough trouble posting pics lol,
I play alot of Yngwie Malmsteen and Michael Angelo Batio , I pretty much conquered shred for 6 strings and just decided to try conqeuring the songs by the greatest 7 stringers, Rusty Cooley and Francesco Fareri

Yeah, I bid on one last year just for kicks, it had a dragon inlay on it and it looked pretty cool, I decided to not bid again after I got outbid.....I could've had one, I liked the looks of it but the shipping price was 100 and the bid I placed was like 30 or something. After I got oubid, I figured I'd forget about it, it seemed shady to me. Nice work he does though.

Yeah, just in case something goes wrong with the body I'm gonna order a 7 string body from warmoth, because I think all the best work was done with the neck and not the body.

Such pain, I must help...deepen it

Holy mother of overused emoticons, batman!

Be aware that Warmoth doesn't offer 25.5" seven string necks, so finding a body from them that will work appropriately with a 25.5" neck might be tough.
