KoRn will always be a huge inspiration to me and a whole shit load of other guitar players all throught the world and even here. Not a big fan as I use to be, but I still dig their shit. Some of Heads new stuff I feel is kinda weak, there are a few tracks on myspace. But I think it is cool that Korn went for a sorta new sounds with their new album, some of it rocks. I know Munky is working on a solo thing, can't wait to here that.

as for me convincing people korn can do crazy shit on guitar, its just obvious, they been playing guitar for like 25 years. so they can't be that bad of guitarists, like i said what they do for korn is enought to make it all work, i can't wait for munky's solo album. that'll be kewl.

A good example of David Silveria's drum-style change is to look at the songs "Clown" and "Faggot" from the self-titled CD, and then look at "Twisted Transistor" or even this song that I mentioned.
The breakdown on Faggot has an awesome little drum pattern, something that I couldn't even imagine him doing on a current song.

Yeah, dylan, the b sides. If you got the special edition you got like 3 songs or something like that. And I think 'Eaten up inside" is one of them.

Actually alot of Korn B-sides from the past were really good as well.
There were a few tracks that didn't make the Life as Peachy album, but later made it to various soundtracks that I personally thought should have been album material. "Sean Olsen" - The Crow 2: City of Angels (also had "Teething" by Deftones - One of their best) "Proud" - I Know What You Did Last Summer (I saw the "Who Then Now" movie when I was a teenager and was in AWE by this song and had to find where it was and what it was. Loved it ever since. Infact, listened to it on the way back from work today) |
