DC-area Nevermore/Evergrey fans...
...or those who are close enough (and fanatical enough) to drive in for it:

Nevermore and Evergrey are doing an off-tour night where they're both doing full sets at Jaxx on Sunday, May 7th.

We're not playing (yet...), but I thought some of you might be interested. If you are, don't dawdle - I suspect this one's going to sell out rather quickly.

Division - American metal that doesn't suck. Much. Even on MySpace, and Soundclick, too.

What really? I know they are on the tour with Arch Enemy that's coming to 9:30 club but I heard they won't be on the tour for that part.

OK, you're not seriously going to tell me you know who DragonForce is and NOT Gamma Ray? Jeez, Kai Hansen only invented this stuff...

Into Eternity is another matter. I highy recommend that anyone who likes both death metal and power metal just go out and buy "Buried In Oblivion". It's got three-part growls and three-part melodic vocal harmonies, buring guitar playing, blast beats AND acoustic interludes...everything, pretty much, and it's still got songwriting.
