Iron Maiden: The Early Days DVD

Is fucking absolutely AWESOME.

$20, 2-DVD set. Disc 1 is 3 full live concerts (2 with Paul Diannio and one with Bruce0. Disc 2 is a 2 hour interview/documentary with the band, from day one with all of the lineup changes, interviews with almost every past member, great candid stuff, and tons more.

If you're a Maiden fan this is a must have. I've watched it 4 times in the last two days.

man, I have something of theirs like that, but it's a 2 DVD with a bunch of their videos on it, not too much live stuff. Either way, Maiden DVDs friggin rule.

My friend let me borrow it, but I keep on forgetting to watch it, that and the SRV double DVD...I'm such a numbscull(sp?)...anyway I can't wait for the Maiden Tribute CD, the one spearheaded by Bob Kulick (I thought it was Bruce)...good stuff in honor of their 25 anniversary.

2 things disappoint me about this upcoming tribute:
1)Paul Di'Anno is on it. He's on every Iron Maiden tribute. He's annoying now. Get over it, Paul.
2)the entire cast of the "Can I Play With Madness' Song.
Other than that, it looks freakin phenominal. I Cant wait to hear that. Especial Alex Skolnick.

well, Fear Of the Dark has my boy craig goldy on it, so it has to stay. I Dotn mind the song itself, "Can I Play with Madness", im not too hot about who'se playing on it.

Where the hell are Petrucci or Portnoy on this thing? DT has played several Maiden tunes live, even doing a few whole shows dedicated to the "Killers" album.
