Dunno if you have the actual album, but the production on that is pretty top notch... it's mostly the youtube compression that beats the shit out of their mix.

I dig 'em. They're descent live, as well.

They put on a good show, and write some good tunes. I dig 'em.

Love 'em, they are one of my favorite bands going right now.. they played a very sick live show. Their guitarist writes some awesome riffs and jesus he can shred.. their shit is definitely not easy. We Bow and Not Safe To Swim Today are some really tricky shit.. I've listened to We Bow 110 times in about five months

I really want to see them live again.

They are one of my favorite bands, but when we opened for them....they played really sloppy and were a little lifeless. But even just from watching videos and hearsay, I know it had to be an off night.

Awesome band though!

I hate the way the kick just takes over the entire drum sound.

and I feel like the guitar is a little thin. The shred sounds great. But I think I would have mixed it a little different.

I used to jam in this band. They play drop-b if that helps anyone figure out their songs. Most of them aren't very hard, but they are great for practicing alternate picking. Marc is a beast on the guitar. If you only have "The Common Man's Collapse" you NEED to download "All things set aside", the cd that came out before that. It has their old (way way better) vocalist, raw production (unlike their new cd w/ shit/sterile production), and their classic songs. Some of the new songs on the new cd are great, but some are throwaway tracks. All things set aside, on the other hand, is pure gold. It has just as good riffs, but better songwriting, and some of the tracks on the common man's collapse are on all things set aside; however, they sound better because of the raw production and better performances.

I wish I could have seen them with After the Burial when they came through San Antonio. Especially, since they were with Fell Silent. (If I remember right.)

They were ....ing incredible.

Fell Silent couldn't make the tour, neither did ABACABB so it was a pretty light show.
