I'd totally sign up, but I feel as if I'm in this weird middle ground where at the point I'm at now, for some of the stuff I need to learn for basic all-around technique and theory, there's probably not a lot that George could teach me, but for the stuff that he COULD teach me (phrasing, melody/arranging, and did I mention phrasing), I don't think I'm good enough for it to be worthwhile.

It sounds a little steep at a glance, but you're basically looking at semi-one-on-one lessons with George Lynch for $30 a month... I should really whip my chops up to shape over the next 6 months or so and sign up.

Sounds like a complete rip off to me, considering the wealth of knowledge in theory and technique I get from someone who I sit in front of once a week. My instructor smokes George, but since he hasn't made a name for himself, I pay a reasonable price.
