Try to exclude the possibility of suffering which the order of nature and the existence of free-wills involve, and you find that you have excluded life itself.

i've seen people better than him too. but he really isn't that bad! lol. his abiltiy to make music is similar to dimebags. its just riff driven and fast solo's, and heavy too some extent. dimebag shits all over hammet in heaviness. are you saying, in your 3 years experience. you could create guitar pieces better than him? he is no god on guitar, but he certainlty isn't shit. the music he creates on his guitar is pretty nuts, if you put into the perspective off! shit he made all that up sorta thing. basically, any song you can play on guitar no matter how good you are, you can be certain hammet would be able to play that song too. so i can't see why every1's bagging him. why not just say he's an up himself fuckhead lol.

Uh, as far as making music, in metallica, pretty much all he does is write solos.. James writes all the songs...

The music he makes is nuts? DUDE, have you been living under a rock? I usually don't get heated, but you're totally leaving out the creativeness of the greats, becker, vai (freak show excess), tony mac, gilbert, al di meola, bumblefoot... I mean, I could go on if you'd like with music that just goes absolutely "nuts" on guitar. HAMMETT, can play any song?! ARE YOU JOKING!? dude, put down the nirvana record for a moment... and go play Serrana PERFECTLy by Jason Becker. For one... kirk can't sweep. Sweeping is an essential tool. He can't pick fast... he has no sense of time measures or phrasing. He structures his songs the same way every time. He stays in the same key. He has no creativity. There's not a chance in hell that he could ever play the intro tap section to Building the Church by Steve Vai. AND, even if he could, which he clearly can't... there's a difference between writing and playing. So I learned the serrana arpeggios last summer (can't play it full speed anymore...), does that mean I'm as good as becker? I couldn't write something like that if I tried. You're striking a nerve with me... and it's a vital nerve. serrana arpeggios: http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...q=jason+becker |

i think it'd prob be a shared effort. who knows. its metallica. they're a different band now lol and maybe you don't understand that being a good guitarist isn't just how fast you can "Shred", or solo etc. and no i don't live under a rock. i just listen to different music too you. is that really hard for you to accept? but i am glad you seem to know hammet so well and know his guitaring ability inside out lol. and i don't mean to sound like a cunt either. your the only one pissing yourself off here lol. and i think your totally missing the point in your self inflicted anger. so settle down then read into what i am saying, and you may understand.
