Lacuna Coil - Karmacode
I just had a chance to listen to this album. The album is extremely catchy. It doesn't have the best guitar work or anything, but it's full of hooks and catchy melodies, some songs I can't get out of my head. Christina has a gorgeous voice (let's not even get into her looks now).
I first saw this band open for Type O Negative in 2003 in hell (Worcester, MA). I think maybe J/CoF was there too, as it would have coincided with their "Damnation and a Day" tour. I was blown away by her vocal melodies and the band's power live - despite everyone laughing at their guitarists tone with the Flextone Heads :P I really enjoyed their last album as well. It's due out in April, check it out perhaps. PS: Also just checked out the new Cannibal Corpse (7-string porn) and Rob Zombie, both are pretty good too. ![]() |

i saw Lacuna Coil on that tour as well, with Type O Negative. i actually went just to see Lacuna Coil, but had a blast with Type O Negative as well. i've only got one LC album, though, Reverie. i dig it.
I have a radical idea. The door swings both ways,
we could reverse the particle flow through the gate. We'll cross the streams. |

Yeah that's their old old album. I have Comalies and Unleashed Memories (and of course the new one), I like all of those.

i read an interview in bass player that said this album was alot more grooving and drum bass oriented. going after more of an "american sound" he said. i'm curious to hear it.

Seriously, I think you need to grow up. There's nothing wrong with the sound of these amps. |

Besides, while you and a good sized contingent swear by the things, they're far from universally loved. Questioning his maturity level won't change that. ![]() Zimbloth, that said, maybe trying not to piss off the Line6 fans on the forum wouldn't kill you. I'm not big on them either, but they do have their purposes, and I'm sure we can both think of far, far more deserving amps for our derision... ![]()

I have all the Lacuna Coil releases now. I like it cause you can chill to it, or rock out. I dig Christina's voice as much as her looks!
