Jammin' on Petrucci Forum!

All,
Recently a totally STUPENDOUS backing track was posted on JP's forum! It's completely off the hook, and even though some UNBELIEVABLE players had done their take and blown me back to the womb, I decided to try my hand! CHECK IT OUT! I'd LOVE any COMMENTS! (BTW this was my 3rd take so don't expect absolute perfection, it's improv after all).

Bri's Jam Solo

I played my arse off on this tune (OH it's the 7620, Air Norton Neck PU, Vamp-2)

BCrowell is just really niceBCrowell is just really nice
Thanks for the feedback all! It's a killer tune, and just plain fun to play on. It's in 5/8, a timing I'm not quite used to, but settled in nicely...

I've worked with tweeking the Behringer a bit to get these tones, but for the money I can't complain one bit! I can't wait till I buy the JSX...*dreams away*

Shawn, it's been great for me to put down the album, and just have fun with music again. I'm even performing three tunes next week as well, "Freewill", "The Trees" from Rush, and "Would" from AiC. It feels great to just play and have fun...it's really revitalizing me!! I don't play nearly as much now, or spend hours in the studio, so the wife is happier too! Life is all about balance!

I loved the ascending tremolo picking type lick especially, really fit the track

Try to exclude the possibility of suffering which the order of nature and the existence of free-wills involve, and you find that you have excluded life itself.
