Ritual wise I always stretch out my back, neck, arms et all before a gig, and normally loosen up the neck so I can headbang and spin it straight away. The just before going on tell the people that I actually like to have a good one, then get psyched up. Ritually I have had phases where I'd rip the strings of the guitar if I'd had a good gig (thus being the bane of any tech who hates doig intonation)

As for superstitions, well, don't really have any as far as I know.

I just keep my hands warm with fleece gloves (in the winter that is) and stay away from the beer. Other then that i don't do anything special.

Got my pick loosing (or catapulting even) problem solved to. I just draw a few lines on em with my soldering iron and now they stay where they belong
