![]() We'll work with floating trems in this section. Floating trems allow you to raise and lower pitch. Dive only trems are a little different, but not by much. So, let's say we're dealing with a floating Floyd... Quote:
In order to do any drastic tuning changes, you will need to do one of the following: A. Unlock the nut and tune as desired. Relock the nut. B. Unlock the nut, tune as desired, check trem angle; - adjust spring claw as necessary, re-check trem angle, re-check tuning; - repeat until tuning is perfect and desired angle is met. C. Lock your Tremol-No or engage the Deep-C on it. Unlock your nut. Tune as desired. Quote:
http://www.tremol-no.com/cleanandlube.asp Maintenance on a trem is an important part of keeping your guitar working properly. Kinda like keeping air in your car tires. Let me know if you have any other questions.

You can't change anything, at least without the device Kevan linked for you. Those things are pretty cool. But the good news is that they stay in tune once they're set.
If I had that kinda dough, it's be a Hellraiser all the way. |
