This idea actually isn't all that new. CDBaby.com has been submitting stuff to iTunes for a while. And they have other connections as well. For example, through CDBaby, our record is now on Tower Records... i'm anticipating it should be on iTunes in the next few weeks.

yep, I just realized that too. CD Baby rules. I guess I should put a link to tower records on my site.

PR firms that work with a budget and small distributors are how business gets done for us poor indies

Whoa, way cool that you guys got your stuff on tower records. Personally I think that they overprice their stuff but it is really cool that you guys' stuff is on a major distributors' website.
