Sure he can, but live he just stands there like his feet are nailed to the stage. It made for a boring show to watch when he opened for Metallica when I saw them in Atlanta several years ago.

Also, as much as I hate to say it, AIC was basically made by the vocal harmonies - even if Jerry takes lead, they'll need someone else up on stage with him.

I totally agree Drew, Staley & Jerry's vocal harmonies gave them their UNIQUE sound that we loved. The music was great, but the vocals really clinched it for me. I really don't know how they're gonna recreate it.

The band "TANTRIC" was the only one of late that came close to the AIC harmony sound...
