Live Whitesnake DVD holy crap this sounds great

I didn't know they put this out.
Coverdale sounds great, and Aldrich is just ripping it up.

Seems like a sweet concert. I recall seeing some of it on a DVD that came with a magazine i purchased a few years ago. Bonus: shredder Reb Beach on second fiddle. I love this song, but it aint the same without Glenn Hughes on backup vocals.

Yeah, man. Been a favorite of my friend's for a while... Definitely gave me a huge respect for Doug Aldrich.

I'm not a huge fan or anything, but I watched that concert at my parents house on their huge TV, and they sounded great! Dude can sing really well...band can play tight. Super good live I thought.

I love, as mentioned before, how Reb Beach is pretty much demoted to second fiddle due to the immense playing of Doug Aldrich.

Drummer from my band was at the gig, said that the live DVD is a complete accurate representation of the gig. Amazing.

I have this DVD. Very much worth getting just for Doug Aldrich's playing. His work on this DVD and on the new Whitesnake album helped nudge me back into playing a Les Paul as my main guitar. That's the guitar sound I've been hearing in my head all these years.

Reb Beach does seem curiously underused in this band, though.

noodleplugerine is a jewel in the rough
Putting a guitarist as immense as Reb Beach into the background takes phenomenal shred.

Awesome video. I saw a video not too long ago where Aldrich and beach go head to head. Doug whips Reb's ass with ease.

i personally like Doug's style alot better than Reb's, but as far as Doug standing out more, i think it's just the fact that Doug has so much more of that John Sykes/ LP thing going on than Reb that just makes him a WAY better fit in Whitesnake IMO .

it would be interesting to see Doug as a second guitarist in Winger .
