Mesa's tech support would be a good resource here, and they kick ass. ![]() "...and everything under the sun is in tune, but the sun is eclipsed by the moon."

![]() | I will call them right now before I head to the store. Here is what I am talking about. Of course I tried to just screw it back in but I can't seem to get it started into whatever is should be attached to. I could just remove it but jees this was an expensive amp. I've already called all the guitar centers within 100 miles of me and none of them have one in stock so I really don't want to give this thing up. Here is a pic of the offending screw and one of my frustration. ![]() ![]() |

I have a radical idea. The door swings both ways, we could reverse the particle flow through the gate. We'll cross the streams. |

![]() | Woohoo their support is really good. It's called the chassis retention screw. Mine was loose but he told me it was fine to go ahead and snug it up. It pokes into the underside of the top of the cabinet to help keep it in place. Thanks for all your help. ![]() |

![]() And that's a gorgeous Single Recto. Now, post up soundclips, in return for my uber-helpful suggestion to call up Mesa. ![]()

![]() | I haven't even had the chance to turn the power on since I got her home but when my fiancee heads off to school in a hour hell shall be raised! I'll try to record some clips but I might not get a chance until tomorrow. Tonight I just wanna jam. \m/ Quote:
Yes It's a 1x12. Both of those 6505's are blowing fuses and are being shipped back as soon as I get my return shipping labels. I've read up on it and it seems bad power tubes would be the likely culprit so I figure Peavey must have got a bad batch. I really wanted to like the 6505 but it just wasn't meant to be.
