Ah, I guess it depends on who's performing it and what they do with the arrangement. I've heard some really unemotional hymn performances, and been part of some extremely emotional worship performances.

The most emotional performance I ever had with that band was actually at my friend's funeral (he had cystic fibrosis, that's another story), where I had to play "Happy Song" (his request).
