I'm kinda glad he left - now he's recordign on his own label, no need to follow whatever major label tells you to do, and even more - no need to work with pop-producers

Not to mention the fact that now he's more or less happy and sober (at least to some degree) and spends time with his daughter

Here are 2 samples of his songs - just by listeningt to them I get a feeling that his album is going to be dope, and exatly what I expected from korn last 3-4 years...

well he used to do back vocals - so at least he knows how to scream
plus with some vocal training I'm pretty sure he'll sound good

first single will be released Jul 8, then we'll hear some vocals

he is definitely adding lyrics, he talked quiet a bit about it in his book, and from what I understood it won't be some church-singing vocals

im excited to see what Head has to offer. he's been inspiration to me and all that. he seems like a pretty talented guy too. id think he'd be abnle to pull off some decent solo's but there probably wont be considering the kind of music.

Ive been hearing through different interviews with Jonathan that Head might go back to Korn in the near future. That would be amazing if that happended and they already lined up Ross Robinson to produce the next Korn album. He was the guy that produced the first 2 albums that were by far there best in my opinion. Korn might have a somewhat promising future if that all happens.

Nice, I was hoping he wasn't going to record an awesome metal album and then make all the lyrics for the songs have some basis in him finding religion.

im just curious to see how off his rocker he still is on his god trip. religion is good if you want it in your life, and im not knocking it. but yes, i am curious to hear his new music, because i believe he is very talented. anything else good coming out this year?

That first clip was awesome! Reminds me of Korn in the good old days. I'm excited to see what else he's going to come up with.

well while his lyrics most likely will be about being saved and some other religious things, or maybe just about finding good within urself, but it wont sound like a church choir, he will definitely do some screming , so it will be somewhat angry

regardign reuinion - while he misses korn a lot, and they miss him, as JD said in recent chat with fans - head is not ready to go back to the environment he ran from, but now that fieldy is also christian - they might work something out in the future...but I wouldn't putto much hope into that...

And yes Ross Robinson producing new album is good news, but I don't know how munky will pull it off and JD's vocals changed over time quiet a lot, plus who's going to be the drummer on that record? I doubt that they will be able to borrow Jordison from slipknot...

He clearly needed some kind of intervention, such as religion, to save himself from his own, poor life choices.

Our local, rock radio station interviewed him not too long ago about the changes he's been going through. In listening to the interview, he did not strike me as the most intelligent person out there.

i dont think ever was. in early interviews you could barely understand what he said cause he'd be so drugged up or groggy voiced. but you know im knda proud of him for realising that he was really fucked up. if hes doing good for anyone its his daughter. and this album should be the shit for christians that want Good metal.
