I remember laughing my ass off while reading an interview he did a bit after he left Korn.

He said something like "..I was taking drugs that can seriously mess up your mind and make you see and hear things even when you are not high" and a bit after that he said that "...I hear, I mean literally hear God talking to me"
Oh the irony oh the irony!

Has H2C not been a project for the last like four years? I still have his original songs kicking about somewhere...they sucked.

Interesting. I've been curious about this for a while now, but I'm not expecting it to be anything all that amazing or a revisiting of KoRn's old sound. The clips didn't really impress me, but I know it's not the finished product.

I saw an interview about his solo thing a while back in which he was playing some clips of songs that did have vocals. They weren't very good, though again, I know that was even further from a finished product than these clips are.

I'm also somewhat curious about Fear and the Nervous System. I think I heard they were going to have some clips or something posted soonish.

Really, though, either one of these projects has a good chance of being better than the stuff KoRn has been putting out for a while now.

I'd actually prefer he didn't go back to Korn, I think things are much more interesting with him on his own. Those samples were killer! I could care less what he sings about if the music is that good, and as long as the vocals sound good

I'm kinda curious about Fear and Nervous System and new korn album (since they will be working with Ross) but not as much as I'm curious about Heads project. Mostly because I don't think of munky as great musician, although there is bunch of other people working with him - so it might be good after all.
Either way I hope that at least one of these new projects will be better than last 2 korn albums, SYTOS and UNTITLED were beyond bad, especially untitled....

I've only listened to the first sample so far, but it sounds pretty damn good IMO. Sounds more like Korn than Korn does lol.

i'll probably dig whatever he puts out just because i grew up on nu-metal and the sound and groove usually does it for me. I don't expect a great album though, because i think what makes the best music is when you have the chemistry of differing creative minds in a group. I, personally, never expect much from solo projects, much less projects from zealous religious types.
if he uses the synthy stuff and whatever to keep it dynamic and the vocals are good, i'm sure it's an album i'd buy. I'll agree with some that I think Head was the more creative/artistic half of the old duo from Korn.

i have mixed feelings about a new Korn album. Honestly i think unless they take a TOTALLY different direction (like, not even metal), they'll never do another good album, because that energy just doesn't seem to be there anymore. I hold firmly to my belief that once Jon Davis went on prozac and Head found God, the dark energy that really made them a powerful band went away. I think it'd be interesting to hear them try and do things in a totally different element. At the very least, i know Ross Robinson isn't one to stand idly by and let them rehash the same old garbage. His work on At The Drive-In's last album was fucking amazing.

This just confirms who the real talent was in KoRn.

Flush really caught my attention, groovy, very good riff...

Maybe people is right about the talent going away from Korn.

I love Munkys riffs too but Headīs stuff is going to kick ass for what Iīm hearing here.

JD cut the crap in ī99, dude :P

i do agree though, Head was always the awesomeness behind Korn. listening to the clips just throws me back to my old Korn fandom, itīs got that exact groove that iīve been missing :P

Untouchables was great, but it sounded like they were losing their identity and slipping into something else. Head didnīt like that album, according to himself. the best thing i heard from the making of this album were two songs that never even made it in the album. you can hear them if you find the "making of untouchables" videos.

Take a look in the mirror was barely ok, and really didnīt impress me a whole lot, and guess what: Head barely contributed to that album.

See you on the other side: interesting, but left me with a bitter taste of synthetic shit. just sounded fake and over-polished like hell, a desparate attempt at doing something else, after realizing you lost half your brains.

Untitled: starting to get better, but still crap. heading way too far out from what Korn is all about, and not in an "evolving and changing" kind of way either.

now, though, listening to those two clips, i hear the warm and grooving stuff i used to love, and that i miss so much!

i also think JD is part of the shittyness in Korn now. heīs become drunk with power, it seems, and heīs controlling the whole thing.

looking forward to Headīs stuff, and if he would join Korn again some day, i think weīd finally hear something good from that corner again :P

I agree with everything except for the part about TALITM... first it seemed weird - but then I listened to it, then some more, then played half of the songs, then lestened to some more and I realized that I like it A LOT. same happened with untouchables, half of which was something new and weird to me, but still had great moments here and there.
