I was just pulling old mp3s out of the mp3 cache and I came across a really ill cd. Ministries Filth Pig. When I heard it.. I hated it. Still though for some reason I kept listening to it, its textures, its enigmacy, its hard to read and hear lyrical content (try reading the original lyric page, it has not one space in the whole thing.. its like one HUGE run-on). The music was just so abrasive but heavy and the riffs though simple were effective and percise, best of all DISTORTED BASS that really gave the whole album a textural density rarely seen in rock albums of its time. It was just this massive rock pillar, while everything else was kinda airy and whimsical. So though alot of the rest of their albums have failed to live up to the momentum this album had, Id like to say.. good job Jourgey boy.. and Barker too. I wish you would of got more recognition for a masterpiece of heaviocity that was far and above your peers of time!..
