![]() | YES! The whole "Volume 4" album as a whole gets overlooked from the early Ozzy-era catalogue, and "Under the Sun" is an absolutely crushing track I wish more people paid attention to. The intro is massive, and then Iommi starts the main riff. He plays it a few times and when the whole band kicks in playing and Geezer start hittting that low C#...![]() SO ahead of their time. Hard to believe that was 35+ years ago. Talking about distorted tritones, chugging/galloping power chords, downtuning guitars, etc...it's all still so relevant today. |

That's one of my fav Sabbath songs ever, but I don't how overlooked it is. I think most people recognize that as one of the best Dio-era songs. ![]() Sabbath live is still as good at it gets IMO. |
