I could do without that particular vocalist, but the guitar playing sounds solid and tight to me.

Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high,
Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie,
Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally.
Grant that my soul some day rest close to Thee
Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread
Its branches like a Temple overhead.

Not really my thing, but sounds pretty good for what it is. The guitar playing sounds top notch to me.

There's a hole in the world like a great black pit
And it's filled with people who are filled with shit
And the vermin of the world inhabit it
But not for long ...

my only real criticism is just the style, nothing terribly original imo. nothing really stands out that i haven't heard a million times before. i walked away not having a single riff stay with me, no hook.

on the first song, the overall playing and tones are pretty solid for a demo recording. i like the guitar tones, nice and growly.

the guitar playing is tight but sounds exactly like every other band in this genre. the riffs are all basically the same etc etc. if you're into it, cool.

Xarn will become famous soon enough
Sounds a lot like The Faceless, although a bit less technical, which isn't a bad thing by any means. I certainly enjoyed it as I don't care too much myself for originality in the music I listen to, thus I like this type of music and especially, your band. Good job on the recording, really tight playing.

Comment my stuff if you find some time to do it, I'd appreciate it a lot.

thanks guys for the input. you guys all said what i was thinking, except the guitar playing. so thanks for complimenting it, i thought it was mediocre at best. but while it is same to the genre as a whole. i think its pretty different in some aspects to the local music scene. there are just 100s of cookie cutter metalcore bands around here. and i wanted to do something different. our style is growing and were getting better every show. the first song is the only one id really pay attention to as it is our newer one. but id really want to do something that changes it up from the same old jfac, as i lay dying, gay shit. like some real death metal stuff mixed with some wierd ion dissonance soundin grooves
