Anyone a Type-O fan?

October Rust: Fucking amazing album.

I'm not really sold on the newer stuff, but this is more of an ambient/piano type album than a.. erm.. goth metal? album.

Bloody Kisses is my fav album. i saw them in concert summer of 2003 in cincinnati, when Lacuna Coil opened up for them. it was a sweet fucking show!!

this past halloween i actually went as Peter Steele. i had the leather jacket ($7 at salvation army), green shirt, black wig, but i lacked a certain "prosthetic."

i LOVE jamm'n along to Christian Woman / Black No1 on my sevenstring.

One of my old bands use to play Black No1. Fun stuff.
So I guess you could say I'm a fan. And I to think October Rust is their best. "Love You to Death" is a great song.

I got to open for Type O in Phoenix last August. It was a sweet gig. Lacuna Coil bailed on the show to tour with (I think) Anthrax for 2 weeks, and they needed a strong local band to fill in for them. Biggest show I ever played, and the guys in Type O were nice and casual, all of them, and I've always been a big fan of their music.

Lacuna Coil is a funny band. They are tring so hard to get a solid fan base here in the US. But they have been coasting on the Comalies album for too long. Not to mention their older material was much better. There was less of that male singer on there. I think he holds the new stuff back, and while I can appreciate his on stage animation, he comes off a little to " into it", which i know is turning people off of the live show.
Let Christina do all the singing, she's got the voice. All the other albums before Comalies had a much darker and sometimes somber/depressing mood. That fit much better IMHO..

'In A Reverie(sp?)' is the album that turned me on to Lacuna Coil. i can't even say i've heard much of the newer stuff, minus what was played at the show i went to. and yeah, that guy was rather into it ...but maybe that's just how he grooves

and oh yeah... "that Christina Scabbia is one hot piece of ase, i know from experience dude..."

you know, he kinda reminds me of Jordan Rudess
