It's not bad, sound quality isn't the best but I quite like it

Envy play Teles and they're awesome. They're not metal, but pretty dark and heavy anyway IMO (their lyrics are so emo too

).

Oh, and Aaron from ISIS plays a Tele too! It's a 70's model so it's got humbuckers, but when I saw them at Tuska he had a different 70's Tele with a singlecoil in the bridge & humbucker in the neck.

teles have plenty of punch and brightness, both things should be high on a metal guitarists list of needs out of a guitar. Generally you'll want a humbucker in the bridge but damn do i love teles.

its pretty metal, i personnally think its as ugly as the artist who made it, and i wouldnt even have called it a telecaster if i was fender, but thats just me
