I think those two criteria alone are enough to qualify any band as NOT grindcore

Origin is probably your grindiest technical bet. Also, Braindrill. And i think Atheretic is pretty grindy. And.. Defeated Sanity. Most of these are grindy death metal, as opposed to straight grind.

Napalm Death - Order of the L€€CH is really good. Their best album by a mile imo, intense but really memorable.
