Cool band I just found - Iechine

SoundClick artist: Iechine - Metal band iechine progressive metal zach rage

Was checking the charts at Soundclick and thought it was odd that Bulb wasn't in #1... but it was this guy instead, I think he posts here as Tiger. This shit grooves real hard tuned to low E. It's pretty sick.

Iechine is sweet. He did a bunch of Catch 33 covers on youtube. Nice stuff.

His stuffs are pretty cool but I can't listen to it without thinking it's not tight enough and so so mixed He could really benefit from a good production. Still it's refreshing to have a full album on Soundclick

Sounds like Rush meets Tool meets Meshuggah. I've never heard anything like it.

1. I love the music. Very cool.
2. I wish the singing was A) mixed louder, and B) sung with more power and force. This music really could use some belting out on it.
3. It could be a little tighter, EQ-wise. A bit boomy. Still good, however.

Overall, amazing. I totally dig the groove.

Well, if he posts on soundclick and youtube, I don't see why we can't get him here and help out with our collective mixing expertise.

He is on here. Check out the illustrated luthier guitar build in the 7 string forum.

It is pretty cool stuff. Like RATM and tool.

EDIT: I didn't see he posted above me.

I like Tiger's style.. its got Meshuggah low tunings, tasteful tool-style odd time signatures and vocals, and occasionally he just locks into a sick Rage Against the Machine kind of groove.

The mix isn't that bad, the vocals could probably come up in the mix a bit, but other than that I think its good. Your drum sound is really punch and defined.. exactly the kind of sound I haven't been able to get with my own stuff

What do you do for bass? Is there a bass on the album?
