Opeth kicked major ass last night!

I am still amazed at what I saw last night. Opeth absolutley rocked..... I dont think I have ever been so happy to see a band perform, I could have been kicked in the nutz and not cared a bit. The openers were also really good. The first band "3" was amazing, BTBAM were decent, Opeth ruled but for some reason dream theater didn't do much of anything for me, just seemed like a bunch of show offs that put no emotion into their music, they were still good and played really clean, and their sound was awsome, but I would have much rather seen opeth play for an extra 2 hours.

They did not get enough time on stage, I could have watched them all night long. And I will have to say the Paramount Theater was the coolest place I have ever seen a show at, and it fit the Opeth vibe perfectly.

No Demon of the Fall? wow I thought that song was a staple of their shows!? (they've played it each of the 4 times I've seen them )

Not to take away from their performance, but they just don't seem to -- let go when they're playing.

IIRC on the first US Ghost Reveries tour they rotated Demon of the Fall every other show with Blackwater Park as their closer. They played Demon when I saw them, but the next show they played BP, etc... So they could be doing something similar.
