Got a question for Marco Sfogli (James Labrie/solo artist)? Post away!

I must have done something right wth the upcoming Mike Keneally interview because the adminishredder let me try for one with Marco Sfogli, who just gave me the go-ahead, so here we are! For those not familiar with Marco, he's an Italian shred/instrumental seven-stringer who came to the attention of the world as the guitarist on Dream Theater singer James Labrie's solo album of 2005, Elements Of Persuasion (a few songs can be streamed here, kinda reminds me of Vince's solo stuff actually...) and recently released his debut solo album, entitled There's Hope (streaming samples here).

So... what'll we ask? Post your questions here, and in a few weeks I'll throw in a couple of my own, send it off and see what happens

Does he remember, back in London in 2005, me shouting at him "Play Freebird!" when I thought he was the roadie for James LaBries guitarist, only to find out he was James Labries guitarist, and then apologising to him later?

Seriously though, I think the questions I would ask (and forgot to ask him back then) were what is LaBrie like to work with, was there any temptation to emulate DT at any point on Elements Of Persuasion, and what difference has working with LaBrie made to his career, popularity-wise and in terms of how he approaches music and recording?

Nice! I'll read up on the guy in the next couple days and give you a couple.

How do you go about composing an instrumental piece and what inspires you?

How do you feel being a more melodic/cleaner player than John Petrucci? How much would you charge to give him lessons?
