A shame to see such a big retailer (apparently) go under - I hope that the staff get new jobs soon.

Double blow as Sound Control handled Schecter guitars.

Sound Control are not about to go under. They are closing 10 of their 26 stores (alas the Edinburgh one will remain open) but right now they'll sell anything that isn't bolted down.

What really sucks is that they aren't accepting deliveries from anyone, so people who are awaiting things on order can't get them and the solution is not very clear. A buddy of mine has a £400 deposit on a guitar but he can't get the guitar, and to get his refund he has to write to head office and talk to them...

Fat chance.
