"Headbangers Ball Blog can exclusively reveal that singer Tommy Cummings has been fired from Divine Heresy. The move came after Cummings flew into a rage during a show on April 26 in Poughkeepsie, New York when the other players wouldn’t let him end the set early."

“There were a lot of things that were leading up to this.Tommy’s a great singer and a great frontman. We just didn’t see eye to eye on a lot of things. I know Tommy has another project that he’s working on and I hope his is able to make it work for himself with another band. We have no ill will towards him, we just weren’t on the same page.”

Sorry I read wrong,

I didn't like his singing so I'm glad that he is gone, I hope the next singer is a better one, for the music is absolutely great.

I'm not sure if this is a blessing or a curse. Curse in that, the last album was great, and Tommy's vocals worked well. However, it could be a blessing because, I have a feeling they could get a vocalist that is, I don't know, less metalcore in sound?

I think the material would sound amazing with someone more like a true death metal vocalist, or something to that effect.

It sucks, but I can't say that I'm that surprised. From the interviews that I've seen, he seemed like kind of a jerk to me

I liked his vocals on the album but they never translated too well live. Plus he says "fuck" 10,000 times between songs that you forget what it even means.

It'll be interesting who they get now.

I never liked his singing anyway. I think a band that brutal needs brutal vox.

Eh, I thought he fit well. Hope they do find someone though.
