Possible band name?

Just find a name y'all like. I mean "Pantera" come on. It doesn't matter if you kick ass. Also "Children of Bodom". See it doesn't matter.

Children of Bodom DOES have an actual significance or meaning behind it, i forgot what it was though...

In an age with band names like "Death Cab For Cutie", pretentious names like "Sonic Imperium" will just bring ridicule upon thee. You may as well call yourself Yngwie's Donut. Hmm. Donuts....

I understand your point, but on the opposite side of the same coin, i'm not really trying to be "with the times". I think the name "Death Cab For Cutie" is more stupid than a band name like "the monkey's" and the music, for ME anyways, falls into the same opinion as the name. I hate most band names these days...

After reading this, it seems to me that I may have come across wrong. I don't want you to conform and have a band name like the current ones. More than anything, I was trying to get you away from pretentious sounding names, rather than encouraging to take a name like "Death Cab For Cutie".

Names like "Sonic Imperium" just dredge up memories of bad wannabe '80s bands. You may be lucky enough to have missed it.

Oh I see what you're saying. I was born in 86, so I only managed to catch a very little of the 80's. I love to go back and revisit the old good stuff though.
