Happened across this while randomly browsing Japanese metal on youtube, and I'm damned impressed. Must get some more musics of these guys.

That was really cool. I loved how he bent a note when everyone else was quiet then everything instantly came back in when he bent back down. Sounded really cool.

I'm absolutely loving the bass tone on the vid, it's really awesome, don't quite know how to describe it, but it's far from hidden in the mix. More bands should have kickass bass tone like that.

Another song... Not an instrumental this time.

Daggorath is a jewel in the rough
Was digging them 'til i heard them with the vocalist. Don't get me wrong, he's a fantastic singer but it turned them from a badass neoclassical trio with tonnesa cool interplay between the bass and guitar into an above average power metal band.

Yeah, I get you man, although I wouldn't really have considered them Power Metal, it's got more of a classic metal vibe to it.

Well yeah, I suppose. Just seems like they're "dumbing down" their music to accomodate the vocalist.

I don't really know about that, I suppose you could say that about a lot of bands, but I would certainly listen to those guys play instrumental all the time. Extremely talented.
