Except now it looks like this:

For the uninitiated, yes, that's the exact same guitar.

I LOVE Derek Taylor.

He was in Crimeny, a shrapnel band. HE played with Scott Stine, who is also great.

Derek has AWESOME stuff from Chops from Hell, I have them all

Rusty told me, and in a lot of Rusty's CFH stuff ( I have all those too ), that Derek influenced him a lot.

Pretty sure that clip is from 'an Evening with Derek Taylor' a CFH release. It's pretty cool, it shows his warm ups that he does on acoustic, and a shitload of licks from legato to chicken pickin'.

/salesman

His solo stuff is great, and so is the Crimeny album. Linkage:http://www.shrapnelrecords.com/servl...uct&prodid=167

Awesomesauce.

I wish I could meet Rusty Cooley XD, I post at his forum Well it's outworld's forum... But Rusty and Matt (the drummer, who is orgasmic) are the only band member that post. But then again they are 2/3 members of the band since the keys dude left from all the stress and injury, and the singer left to join some loser called David Shankle He told the band he was leaving to help his family, but he left and joined DSG apparently. Rusty was pissed when he heard this. The singer also stated musical differences, that outworld had too many meshuggah style songs on the new CD they were recording. Rusty replied that there was only a couple meshuggah-ish songs, but now that the keys are gone and they are looking for a more death growl oriented singer... ironically it did move into a more meshuggah style. Lawl, though Rusty did say the tracks sound uber heavy without the keys in there. Also, they are thinking of a 2nd guitarist as well.

TL/DR? Outworld is changing for the better :O

Anywho, Derek Taylor is pure awesome.

mmmmm i am a big fan of rusty cooley too !!! but i prefer his solo album most !! well outworld's debut album it didnt really took me out perhaps due to personal taste i hope is just individual ideas but rusty cooley is still No 1 ass killer guitarist there... i only prefer meshuggah's first two insane album with cool jazz portions... Hope outworld would fit into meshuggah's earlier album.... but rusty is so neoclassical influnced
