I was gonna recomend Every Time I Die but it seems you already know them.

I'd say Mastodon qualifies as Southern Metal, definintely Baroness (grew up in Southern Virginia and relocated to Georgia) and Clutch (though they're from Maryland they have that southern bar groove sound going on)
