I totally had no idea that Skolnick and Bostaph were playing for Testament again! Really liking it!

I'm about half way through. Not bad, but not much variety.

Edit: Done listening. Again, not bad, but it feels like I've heard this album before. I've read that Eric usually writes riffs by jamming along to thrash beats on a drum machine. Unfortunately, it kind of shows. Aside from small variations in tempo, there are no real standout riffs.

On the positive, I like the dark mood that the album has, not unlike some of testament's other modern albums. The lead guitar work is kind of predictable, but it is good to hear Alex playing with the band again.

T'was tartar killed the beast.

Looks like they did the next soundtrack song for the upcoming Transformers movie. Testament kicks major booty! I've got every CD. The fact that Alex is back just makes my mouth water.

I've only just started listening. sounds like testament to me - no complaints. looks like (so far) they're not coming near me on this big badass metal tour .

when you use the same scale and start on the same root.. well.. it's hard to really switch it up.

I'm sure i'll pick it up at some point. mm chuck billy on vocals..

3 cheers for free gear!

I'm kinda 'meh' about it, but I was the same back in the old days with this band. Low and The Gathering are better, IMO.

i think it all sounds fucking kick-arse.
i love it.

Will listen when I get home.

The Gathering was a ridiculously good album though. To be honest though, I've never really listened to much of their earlier material, which I know is a cardinal metal sin on my part.

I can't wait to pick up this fuckin' CD!!
This owns on every level. And of course, Andy Sneap's mixes are top notch (I don't care what anyone says )

You shake your ass but you're already dead.
