 | Daath So I never really was able to get into these guys because their singer just came off like a meth-head...and meth-heads aint coo mm'k. But when I heard they had vocal-free tracks posted on their website (for auditions) I downloaded them and really started to appreciate their music a lot more. Really good guitar playing and interesting phrasing...good drumming as well. All around I would give them a 8/10 for musicianship on the last album and about a .3/100 for the vocals. Hopefully their new vocalist is better. What do you guys think of them? the song Cosmic Forge is epic  |

| Daath is good shit. Definitely some really cool tracks on the cd. Not your average tunes for sure. I suggest you check out their disc if you can deal with the singer's voice (which is pretty cool IMO  ).Dark clouds in your heaven. Your end has only begun. You can scream but there's no rescue, I promise I'll make you sure that you die in time.  |

| I love that guy's voice. I didn't like the campier tracks on the album though, like Dead on the Dance Floor... A unique album to have and listen to, but not to buy.  |

| For some reason I always felt a sharper or higher-pitched death metal growl would compliment their style of music better...I always thought the guy in The Absence would sound amazing with that mix. I was a bit harsh on their singer initially...but for some reason I just felt like that album could have been so much better with a different singer. But who am I to discredit someone else's efforts...I can't sing so...I didn't mean to offend anyone and if I did I apologize. Thanks for all your opinions guys! I think I'll wait for their next album to consider buying any of their stuff. For now the audition tracks are good enough |
