I've been listening to the new TEXTURES album on their myspace page (MySpace.com - Textures - Whole album streaming now! - Tilburg, NL - Metal / Death Metal / Progressive - www.myspace.com/textures)...
The whole album kicks ass!!! Love the song "Awake", with a pretty good Deftones touch

What do you guys think?

It's my favourite album of 2008 so far, and by far too. I am fond of the other 2 albums, but not ecstatic about them, and had kind of worked up an expectation that this album would be the same but boy was I wrong, it's incredible.

Going to see them with Tesseract tomorrow in Milton Keynes, and I'm really excited about it.

This is album is FANTASTIC! I thought Drawing Circles and Polars were pretty good, but this is kind of like (to me) Textures' version of Colors. Alaska was good, but this just blows it away.

And I've noticed that some of the singing has a very distinct Devin Townsend influence, which is far from a bad thing.

they are great guys and phenomenal musicians and this cd is really amazing, they have once again stepped up their game!
and i thought they wouldnt be able to outdo the masterpiece that was drawing circles...
