Earshot. Anyone else dig em?

I've been listening to these guys for a long time now. Really dig their stuff. It's not teh br00tulz, but its some damn good heavier rock. New album in the works too Anyone else into them? Here's some vids...

Earshot - "Not Afraid"

Earshot - "Wait"

Dark clouds in your heaven.
Your end has only begun.
You can scream but there's no rescue,
I promise I'll make you sure that you die in time.

StefanWest will become famous soon enough
Actually I've been a fan since they first came out. I dig them, great singer and rounded sound. I used to think they sounded like TOOL, but later on "two" they diversified themselves. I am also waiting for the new cd.

I went to college with the bass player (John Sprague). I jammed with him a few times. He's a nice guy. It's funny because he was really good even back then - better than you'd know from listening to him now.

LOL That is pretty much exactly what I was going to say. Big fan myself and I think their singer could easily pass for Maynard in a cover band. Dig the tunes though for sure.

Not a big fan at first, but they turned out to be a band that really grew on me. Now I'm really digging them. Their singer does do a better Maynard than Maynard at times.

That's killer! He seems like he would be a very talented player. I especially dig his little bass solo-esque part in "Not Afraid". Very cool stuff.

Indeed. When I first heard "Get Away" and "Not Afraid" I thought they had a nice TooL element about them, which is what drew me in. Then when "Two" was released, I bought it not hearing any of the tracks and loved it. I'll more than likely do the same with the next disc when it gets released. I can't wait to hear new stuff from them. They seem like a band that changes it up each album subtly, yet it appears to be a big change. I dunno if that makes sense, but yeah...

I agree. With the exception of "10,000 Days" vocals. However, I'm sure that's production to an extent. Wil Martin definitely has a killer voice either way you slice it. One of the best IMO.

I'm really surprised how many people dig Earshot here. AWESOME!
