The Uk metal press........

I'm sure everyone here has heard me bitch about it. However, this time, all I'm going to do is post a link and let you all decide if you agree with me:

Metal Hammer magazine awards - Nominees

This magazine labels itself 'Defenders of the Faith' by the way!!!!

I gave up on the big two (Kerrang and MetalHammer) years ago, if I buy a metal magazine these days it's usually Terrorizer.

The best UK magazine I've found is Zero Tolerance, they do features with bands like Meshuggah, Behemoth, Emperor, Strapping Young Lad, Opeth, Bal Sagoth, Zyklon, etc they have a tendency towards the heavier side of metal, but its an absolutely fantastic magazine, and the CD they give away with it has some great music on it too.

It can be quite hard to find though, I know it started off Birmingham only, and has spread to WHSmith stores around the country, so you might wanna check it out. It even has about 4 or 5 pages of musicians tips.

Zero Tolerance is by far the best metal mag out there as far as the UK goes. I have every issue (except No. 1! ) Terrorizer can be ok sometimes too. Everything else is utter drivel as far as I'm concerned.
