Yeah it's weird, years of playing and I've never had it happen before.

it is impossible for me to get callus on my fingers even after 3 years of playing every day

That's probably genetic or something. I met a guy once who had the whole palm of his hand and all of his fingers callused naturally.

I've made my finger tips sore after doing exercises, but never til I bled.

whenever i got blisters, i´d wait for them to go down, and the thick skin would build up. i started playing bass, too :P

and if you got blood under your skin, then you might want to remove it, i had to do that a couple of times. probably won´t need to though, as it disappears slowly once it dries out

never happened to me
but im not very metal

my middle finger on my right hand is always bleeding near the nail after a show unfortunately, but thats because i play way too hard live and i hold my pick strangely, and im actively trying to fix that...
