Any Yes fans on the board?

Hearing their early 70's albums like Fragile, Close To The Edge, Tales from Topographic Oceans and Relayer (so underrated

) changed my life. I mean how do you even begin to orchestrate stuff like that?

I think Drama is great. Machine Messiah is a masterpiece. I also like 90125 and Big Generator a lot. Basically...the less Jon Anderson the better.

It's ironic that the IMO best Yes album of all didn't feature Jon Anderson OR Rick Wakeman...

We used to play those early Yes songs in high school. They really were a lot of fun! I don't like the later Yes stuff at all.

Drama is not my fav, but I think Geoff Downes did a good job at replacing Jon Anderson. I personally dig Anderson's voice, it has such a powerful yet pure timbre to it, and he's an amazing composer as well despite his limited instrumental abilities.

That was Trevor Horn singing on Drama. Geoff Downes was the keyboarder, and together they were The Buggles. You know, Video Killed The Radio Star...

Drama is my favorite as well. I also love Union.
