This vid has been an influence since I first saw it 3 years ago watching Pavorotti and friends. I remember watching it with my grandparents going 'blah...' then BAM. I got the shit kicked out of me. They've been a major influence ever since, and I'm so happy its made it to youtube.

I'm a huge Di Meola buff, I've bought 11 of his CDs now, have the 86-93 live at the Montreux DVD, and I even have the VHS of his instructional (that never made it to DVD). I also have 2 of the guitar trio cds, and want the Super Guitar Trio (Di Meola, Coryell and Birelli) DVD, but haven't ordered it yet (though I've been told its hard to find).
