I've got the album, and I love it. Really good brutal stuff, with a lot of the old Sepultura vibe. Rizzo's playing is absolutely insane, but it doesn't detract from the brutality.

Dunno how i feel about this, It's good to see them coming back to thrash (although, the timing is questionable considering that Thrash is back!!) It's good to see Igor back behind the kit (although I didn't really hear any of his trademark character on these recordings, which is a real shame), I guess Overall it's good to see the Cavalera brothers back together but it feels like it's missing that X factor that you get from real chemistry (ie Original Sepultura). I think it's sick. I'd have to disagree with the thrash timing comment considering how there is no doubt Dark Ages was very thrashy in many parts. I reckon it's a really sick album that is going to be unfortunately considered less of, purely because of the insane influence and impact the sepultura albums had. They are terrific albums, but I think that nothing Max will ever do will be evaluated outside of the "when I was 18 i heard Arise and it was the sickest thing ever and still is" mindset.
