I too stood in line for 1 1/2 hours in the fucking cold only to find out Meshuggah didn't cross the border. Worse yet, I went inside and found out. Fuck Ministry, so I went home, now out $50.00.

This is why you have "go-for" roadies. When you reach your destination point, send the "go-for" for your supplies (weed, booze, McD's.... whatever) and not worry about this shit.

And no Ticketmaster won't refund tickets as it was Ministry's tour. Just broke my heart. I had been looking forward to this for 3 months. I can't see there being a "make-up" show either, so I guess......... well........... FUCK!

That describes my feelings pretty well.. I should have at least tried selling my tickets to someone in line. But stood in that lineup for a fuckin hour, until somebody came out the door and said Meshuggah wasn't playing. No refund, no Meshuggah, fuck! Fuck! fuck! I had been counting the days to this concert ever since I bought the fucking tickets how many months ago

Dude, me too! My wife even said when I got home, "Christ, you've been talking about this show for months. I even remember you talking about it during our Honeymoon and wedding!" (which was February 2nd)........

MESHUGGAH, HEMLOCK Forced To Miss Calgary Show Due To 'Immigration Challenges' - Mar. 27, 2008

MESHUGGAH and HEMLOCK were forced to miss the first Canadian show on MINISTRY's final world tour — C U LaTouR — which made a stop last night (Wednesday, March 26) at the Whiskey nightclub in Calgary, Alberta. According to local promoter Union Events, the two bands — who are believed to be sharing a tour bus — were unable to make the gig due to "immigration challenges." The rest of the tour is not expected to be affected by this cancellation.
i understand you are pissed, but for many reasons tough immigration procedures keeps a country clean in a good way, so i guess the occasion sucks more than the actual procedure +

I don't think they were sharing a bus, there was only a RV there with a small trailer.. definitely not enough room for Thomas Haake plus Hemlock's drummers stuff and then ten dudes in the RV. the way it sounded, Hemlock made it, but Meshuggah didn't

Haven't heard that one before.

I'm still waiting for them tour Australia. Hopefully none of that shit goes down here. I know Cannibal Corpse and Marduk had some sort of trouble getting over here.

RIP MIKE

You know it!

And they were not sharing a bus according to the Blab. Hemlock rolled up late in a small RV with a small trailer.
