IMO, Dime shows up Wes when it comes to skill, but all around creativeness and fan favorite, Wes beats Dime.

Max Cavalera? Mr. "I only NEED 4 strings for making teh br00t4l metulzz!" is in the top 5 best guitarists? Sorry, Dimebag is definitely a more accomplished guitarist technically and I'm assuming that this is some user poll from like 2000.

its a list from a Guitar Magazine from 1999. But Dime was indeed hands down better than Wes in a skill level, but Wes did two hand slapping, odd tunings, etc. He was more creative than Dime. Hands down. Dimebag did nothing new on guitar. He did the same shit EVH did.
