I liked the music, but I just don't like her vocal style.

The clean vocals are mixed WAY too high compared to the screams. I aint a fan of the whole song as it is, but that really ruins it as far as I'm concerned. The screams at least sit with the music, whereas it sounds like the whole band was turned down to headphone level while she did cleans.

Parka Dez is a jewel in the rough
Can't say I was digging it, and the clean vocals were mixed really weirdly, like way to loud and sung in quite a strange way I thought.

Not even close to KSE, and Angela sings better than this girl, however she has nice clean vocals, yet her growls sound weird...

cool band though...

also, some of the clean parts remind of a Mankind Is Obsolote....

Wow... well, at least it's not numetal being bashed tonight!

I liked it! But then, being from the South, maybe Tennessee metalcore (I didn't know there was such a thing! ) is something I'd enjoy. Who knows. I agree the vocal mix is.. odd. Hard to say what it is exactly. But I still like it.

Hell, I like peanut butter cups too... I like chocolate in my peanut butter, I like melody and groove in my metal, I like a mix of styles in my music.

Couldn't quite read the name (except for the Stitch part ), what was it?

It's got potential, I'd like to hear them again in 3, 4 years when they've fully developed their own unique style and her voice has matured. She's definitely got something, they're just half the way there - they just need the right producer to guide them in the right direction.

Anytime I see someone in a band with "spiky" hair I automatically assume the worst. This only validates that rationale.

wtf is tennessee hardcore? Like the showdown and shit? Those guys were really good when they played pop punk and covered the get up kids and stuff. But I know what you mean. There were about a bajillion bands in east ky and tenn. that played the same riffs in about 2000-2003.

That was pretty..bad. And I just got finished playing along with some KsE songs. :P

I agree about the vocals being mixed all weird. One of my guy friends has a scream like that.

As far as girl singing, this band is rising up there for me:

It sounds boring and bland to me... I really expected something much better than that

If you like hot singers that growl and sing, you should check this band out:

Pure awesomeness
