Slipknots Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)...fans?

So i randomly came across Slipknots Subliminal Verses album, ain't listened to it in while. Fucking what a great CD. I used to love it heaps, but i sorta overplayed it lol.
Its an almost near perfect album too me, the guitar riffs are kick ass (not complicated i know! but still great!), corey's voice, love it. So aggressive yet clear, if that makes any sense lol. And Joey, damn he's a fucking fast drummer, and i love his versatility too the extent on how his drum fits perfectly too the every song, hard n fast, slow, he's got such a cool style. Anyways, thats my oppinion!

Any other lovers (lol that made me a sound bit odd) of this cd? if you ain't listened too it in a while, get it out! Can't wait for their new album!

I like a lot of songs off this CD, but there are some other songs that I don't care for and some that I really dislike. So I couldn't say that I love it, but it's got some pretty awesome songs on it.

I know what yah's mean. Like its kick ass album, just, i think you can really tell they were experimenting around in some of the songs, which sorta makes them sound, incomplete, if you know what i mean, just lacking a bit of something i guess. But, i can sorta let it slide because it was a very different slipknot album, thats why i am really excited to hear how they expand from that sound with the new record. Circles! Prelude 3.0! the blister exists! Duality, just to name a few, fucking sick songs.

Heres some quotes/info from the band on the new album! I am pumped, more so that they'll be touring by mid year!

"Whatever bullshit's on the internet, it's most likely not true. We're gonna start recording it in February, be on the road by July and hopefully the record will be out in September" Mick Thompson!

"Oh, I’ve got an absolute ton of stuff, man, I got three notebooks of ideas from the past year and a half alone. It’s so great, I think we’re gonna do something really different with this album. Different, but brutal." Corey Taylor

"It's going to be heavy as fuck! It's going to be heavier than 'Vol. 3...' but just as weird and as experimental. We have a whole bunch of song titles, but nothing I wanna say right now." Joey Jordison

yes alot of people didn't like the change. I love bands that take risks in evolving their sound. It was definatly a softer album compared to S/T and IOWA...and their EP. But still, their new album seems promising, its meant to be heavier than IOWA. SO! that should be interesting, considering how damn brutal IOWA is, that was one damn emotionally driven album haha. The last song IOWA (called iowa i think? lol) still makes me feel weird listening too it haha, such a fucked up song! but so good!

I was a massive "Iwoa" fan, I thought the tones were amazing and it had some strong songwriting, so I was kinda disappointed with Vol3. It just didn't grab me as much
