![]() ![]() | I like Vol.3, but I'm not too fond of Corey's voice on it, however his voice plus the whole band on the first 2 CDs just plain kicked ass. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Vol.3 is the only Slipknot album I like (and the only one I own). The first two did nothing for me, except I always had a fondness for Wait And Bleed. Don't know what it is about Vol.3 but I think its far superior to their previous material personally. |

![]() | I like the first record, though I canīt really listen to it much anymore. IOWA sucked for me, plain and simple. Strong tone, strong production, shitty songs. My Plague is the worst ever... Vol. 3 is the only one I listen to nowadays. This album regained respect from Slipknot for me because I didnīt like IOWA at all. |

![]() ![]() | I pretty much dig all of Slipknot's music. Iowa has been my favorite release from them, but Vol. 3 is damn good. I'm definitely eager to hear what they will be releasing next. Dark clouds in your heaven. Your end has only begun. You can scream but there's no rescue, I promise I'll make you sure that you die in time. ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() | im not a fan ![]() never really go into em, but some mates of mine like em. ...Each guitarist has an evil fat 40 year old blueswankler trying to get out, If you give in to temptation you'll be sitting next to a fender playing john lee hooker while trying to keep your combover in place. -Desecrated |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I loved this album! It was the first Slipknot CD (I have them all) that had more than one or two good songs on it. And the introduction of some real guitar solos? Badass. It was the first musical thing they've ever really done IMO. ![]() And it was damn nice to actually HEAR what the guitars were playing, instead of the much that was on the earlier albums. In any language that you learn to speak -- love is twisted and defined as weak TheMissing's GAScon status: GAScon 4... I'm doing pretty good at the moment. ![]() |

+1 I couldn't have said it better. Iowa sounded like mud. Trust your ears. In life and music, what is is but that doesn't always mean it's what it should. Change, is in our hands. | |

![]() | I loved the self-title when it came out. Iowa, I thought was almost all trash. I dont know, I just didn't really dig it at all. I got the Vol.3 really cheap at wal-mart for that debut sale or whatever; I would not have bought it otherwise. but I was glad I did though. Vol. 3 was definitely stronger and to me, actually sounds more intelligent composition-wise. There are defintiely more "pop" songs on that album but the material is definitely better. Hell I was even impressed by it after my interest in Slipknot waned. |
